A Busy week

I'm sorry I have been quiet this week but I have been a bit busy

In fact it might have become a bit of an obsession

I have practised alot....

 and probably have enough for a small blanket 

Then I wanted to try something else so I found the BEST book ever for learning Crochet

I have read loads of Crochet books and they all have the same diagrams which I find confusing but this book was just wonderful, clear pictures with clear instructions.

So I attempted a small sample of Double crochet

then I attempted a small sample of Triple crochet

The book is great, it shows you how to do double, triple and circles as well as increase and decrease then has little projects which are toys and a bag which use all the techniques learnt. So I attempted a small bag which was just a rectangle of triple crochet

        I must have dropped a stitch as it is certainly not a rectangle but not bad for a first attempt.
This was all packed into my bag to take to the 2nd crochet class where I was sure to be the class swot.
